Incarnation is a word that most people are not really familiar with. The idea that the Lord of the universe would become like one of us, a simple human being, is difficult to comprehend. But Advent and Christmas remind us of that extraordinary reality. Not only did God come to be with us, but he came in the form of a simple child born to a lowly family in the little town of Bethlehem.
John's gospel records Jesus giving four reasons why he came to earth to be with us. During Advent, we will be looking at these four reasons and how they intersect with the message we find in the Christmas story. Join us each Sunday morning at 10:00 and learn why it is that God would choose to be with us.
