Covenant Preschool ended the school year with our annual St. Jude Trike-a-Thon that we hold in our back parking lot! All 58 of our kiddos brought bikes and helmets and enjoyed the morning. Our families raised $2,645 for St. Jude. I am so proud that our families give back to those in need. We also had our Field day outside and had our Oldham County Sheriff’s Department bring 2 Police cars for the children to see, climb inside and even talk on the speaker system! It was a great day for our little ones. We wrapped up our school year on May 12th with 26 kids graduating and standing room only in our sanctuary!
If you haven’t noticed, we are doing a little remodeling of our classrooms upstairs and downstairs! We have painted 3 of the 4 rooms and will be painting the hallways upstairs and in the basement, along with bathrooms on both levels, if we have time! We will also put carpet tiles in all classrooms in the next few weeks. We can always use your help, so please let me know when you are available, and I will make it happen!
We will start our summer playdates on the playground on June 16, so we get to meet all of our new families and get to see our returning ones!
I cannot say Thank You enough to our Church staff and all our church volunteers who have helped our Preschool in so many different ways!
