Israel rediscovers the attributes of God during their exodus from slavery in Egypt. Through their story, we, too, can discover what God is like as we live in a relationship with Him.
Israel had largely forgotten who the Lord was and what the Lord was like during their 400 years of captivity in Egypt. Israel’s exodus from Egypt was not only a journey from slavery to freedom but also a journey of rediscovering who Yahweh God is and what the Lord is like. Their journey of freedom and rediscovery can help us on our journey of freedom and discovery.
July’s sermon series will follow the journey of Israel as they learn more and more about the nature and character of God. We will discover that even after thousands of years, the Lord remains the same, and God’s nature and character are of central importance in our faith journey.
Join us each Sunday morning in July as we learn and grow in faith together.
